FUN READ: Two Gentlemen of Lebowski

The Big Lebowski, completely rewritten in Shakespearean verse. Presumably by a dude who abides.

Admit it, if you knew bombarding willing childrent with piles of Super Balls was an option, it’s probably how you’d have spent your New Year’s Eve.

You sketch it, it finds (and makes, kinda-sorta) the picture you were after. Watch the demo below. How fun is that?
NOTE: After the oohs and ahhs, it’s easy to take a second look and think it’s fake. The infinitely wise Kottke makes an argument otherwise as part of his 100 best links of 2009 (good stuff) after the jump.

Brace yourself for a mega-fun, stunt-y, race-y, bike-y game. Give it a minute and it’ll take your day. Please note: I’m not nearly as bad as this screen-grab would imply. It’s just hard to take a picture while riding. Click the pic to get the game.

Zoomdoggle & Co. is en route to Atlanta. Long story short, this means we’re taking the day off. If you were one of the people who submitted for the writing job, hopefully this will allow for more time to send out applications, read, and respond. If on the other hand you’re just a reader, hopefully this will allow for more time to um, er, well, do that other stuff you enjoy you so much. In the meantime, if anyone knows of anything fun to do in ATL, or wants to meet up for a drink-up, send word to jakehimself at giantminiature. Thanks.
I know it’s only a 4 out of 10 on the fan scale, but watch it along with the 50 other videos of dogs going mad over the Law & Order intro after the jump, and we’re starting to get somewhere.

WHEN: January 19, 9PM
WHERE: Joe’s Pub, 425 Lafayette Street, NYC
WHAT: Universal Record Database, recently named URLesque’s 2009 Site of the Year, is an open platform for world records, built on the philosophy that everyone on earth can be the world’s best at something. The “World Record Appreciation Society” is that special time of the month when it all comes to life on stage as records are set before your very eyes. This instalment promises to be one of the best; Brooklyn jazz trio Blastoff!!! will serve as house band, loads of familiar faces (did someone say famous?), and plenty of new ones, all writing themselves into the history books together. Best bit of all? This time around it’s a fundraiser for the “Yes, We Care” Soup Kitchen in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Tickets are $12 but are going fast. Very.

Artist Christopher Locke makes fossil sculptures of extinct technology. Check out the complete collection after the jump… also, to varying degrees, under your couch and at yard-sales in the future. It’s fun stuff. This is out history people.

Pretty self-explanitory. Pretty obvious. Pretty awesome. Pretty big “har-har” to Mike G for sending it in.

Everyone likes taking nude pics. Some of us even like sending them to people. But not everyone wants all the goodies floating around in the ether for ever after. Luckily, as with most things, there’s an app for that. Safe Sexting has all the black boxes, censoreds, and blurs you’ll be needing to block out the raunchy before sending the explicit. How fun is that?
