I’m kind of on a fun music video kick at the moment, but this one, a collage of webcams seamlessly stitched together, takes the cake. The band is Sour. The directors are Masashi Kawamura, Hal Kirkland, Magico Nakamura and Masayoshi Nakamura. And the execution is amazing. Brace yourself, you’ll probably want to show a friend even before it ends. Yup, it’s that good.

OK GO! is back at it (making fun videos to go with kick-ass songs that is). This time it’s they’ve got Ghillie and marching bands. What more could you want?
When VR Troopers – a kind of second-rate Mighty Morphin Power Rangers spin-off – got canned, the pink-slipped cast and crew decided to have some fun NST3K-style. They got drunk, dubbed over part of an episode and threw in some outtakes for good measure. Admire their handiwork. Be warned though, there’s dirty-words a-plenty.

When Derick Childress decided to propose to Emily Kern he knew he wanted to do something special, so he rented a hotel room, set the camera on a tripod and started flashing the city. Er, it’s way sweeter than it sounds. You’d almost have to say yes after a video like this, or buy a car (if that’s what it was selling); it’s very well done. I’m embarrassed to say it, but well, I like this video enough to have watched it all the way to the end. Twice. Post something you’re embarrassed to kinda-sorta-maybe like below. Best one by the end of the week wins a prize (a non-Buckyballs prize, how fun is that?). On a side note: Congrats to “Maggie” for winning the Unnecessary “Quotes” jam.
Admit it, if you knew bombarding willing childrent with piles of Super Balls was an option, it’s probably how you’d have spent your New Year’s Eve.
