THANKS: People & Balls

A special thank-you to the street teams from Brand Marketers who’ve made giving away 20,000 copies of the Fun List such a breeze (hope you saved me some – no, really though)…. and the balls that paid for it all:

Did you know Buckyballs now come in three super-premium, executive platings (real Gold, Silver, and Black Nickel). It’s true. We’ve got a new website too. Check it out and, if you feel like supporting, don’t forget to use promo code “doggle” to save big a checkout!

FUN LIST: Goawnus Jell-o Mold Competition

For timing reasons, this year’s Jell-o mold competition (held last weekend) didn’t make the ZD fun list. But it should have. Big time. Check out complete details, pictures, videos and more after the jump. And mark it on your calendar for next year.

MAKE: Iron Man Mask and Arc Reactor

No, really though, isn’t it time you got one of these? Instructables has the full how-to, along with a sweet redesign. Other good ‘structables worth checking into this week: Gummy Legos (build something, then eat it, yum), Desktop Skee-ball (if you build it, they will come), and a Bubblesteen Bubble Machine (a Jewish bubble-making machine, how fun is that?).

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Naked Painting Party

WHEN: May 26th, 8PM

No pantsing.
Expect to be photographed.
Bring towels and enjoy the cab ride home with paint on your ass. How fun is that?

MAKE: Street Paintings (the big, easy, fun way)

Turns out, to make roadway paintings such as these, all you’ve got to do is dump piles of paint in different spots on the street, sit back and relax as the traffic does the rest. Check the full collection of pictures, video and more, courtesy of the German crew who innovated the technique, after the jump.

HONORARY DOGGLERS: The Make A Wish Foundation (Electron Boy)

This has to be their best work ever. Big-ups to the city of Seattle for getting in on the action. Hundreds of people involved!?!?! How fun is that? Read the full story after the jump.

LOOK: Photos + Drawings = Fun

Ben Heine, you are a genius. Loads more after the jump. Don’t be scared to make your own, imitation is the funnest form of flattery.

CONTRIBUTE: Mail Nothing To The Tate Modern

Honorary Doggler David Horvitz is at it again. He’s got a show coming up at London’s Tate Modern. This time around though, he wants you in on the action too. Kind of. Simply put: You mail nothing to the Tate (a box, envelope, or even simply an email with nothing in it), they’ll track it and, presumably, display it upon receipt. The sending is the fun part. That, and knowing you put nothing in an art museum. Full details after the jump.

GO: SkyJump

The Stratosphere, arguably the funnest Vegas casino, conceived of and once owned and operated by the funnest gambler of all time (Bob Stupak), has just added a new ride to it’s tower topping trio… a bungee ride that takes you from the needle to the parking lot the fun way. Newly minted, never attempted, if you go, let us know.
