CONTRIBUTE: Mail Nothing To The Tate Modern

Honorary Doggler David Horvitz is at it again. He’s got a show coming up at London’s Tate Modern. This time around though, he wants you in on the action too. Kind of. Simply put: You mail nothing to the Tate (a box, envelope, or even simply an email with nothing in it), they’ll track it and, presumably, display it upon receipt. The sending is the fun part. That, and knowing you put nothing in an art museum. Full details after the jump.

FUN VIDEO: Memoirs of a Scanner
Office supplies = Office surprise. Amazingly, the movie, shot completely on a scanner, makes more sense than the little caption I just wrote. No really, have a look.

GET: Humunga Stache

A chew toy for your dog that gives him (or her) an old timey stache? Sign me up. NOTE: Midway through ordering my ever-grumpy office-mate Craig referred to it as a ball gag that robs dogs of their dignity. That’s just his way of saying it’s fun though.

PLAY: G-Switch
Brace yourself for the simplest, most addictively fun game you’re likely to play all day. See how far you can run without going off screen using only a single button (the “X” key) to switch up the gravity and nothing else. Once you get good, challenge a co-worker. Up to 6 people can play at once using one keyboard. How fun is that? Click the pic to get the game.

NEW SPORT ALERT: Camera Tossing

Er, it’s not really a new sport so much as a fun, cheap way to make art by throwing your camera around (another fun take on shutter lag). WIRED has a great how-to:
