Play Pinball with Alice

WARNING: You’re going to want to turn the volume down if you’re at work…

The paddles work with the left shift button and the right control or apple button. Hold the down arrow to pull back the plunger… let it go and the game begins!

Play Block Dodge

Make A Drug Poster

Make your own drug ads and send them to friends! This one here, for Dogglarax might bring with it flaky-taint, but it cures boredom. The typos let you know it’s good (oops, copy-reading’s not my thing).

NOTE: The site is just a big excuse to serve ads about drug-testing… but it’s a fun excuse to serve you ads about drug-testing… which, if you take the replace the words “drug-testing” with “porn”, pretty much makes it the same as everything else online.

Play Blockfather

Don’t be fooled by the soothing music, this one’s a beast. You lead, they will follow. There’s not much more to it, but sometimes the simplest games are the hardest.

It may take a minute to get going, but it’s well worth the wait.

Phone in an Excuse

This time, the play is helping you get out of, well, just about any situation. Just enter the number you want called (your own), the time you want the call, and the kind of call you’d like. They can ring you with an important sounding conversation, complete with questions you’ll want to answer so others nearby can hear the emergency you’ve been call off on, or they can just send you a little pre-recorded joy.

It’s free to use, but because they’ve got to pay for the calls, they can only afford so many per day. As in most things, there’s no guarantees. OOh, also, it’s probably best to avoid anything marked “Baldwin.” True, it’s funny hearing Alec on the other end, but you’d have to be pretty thick skinned to walk away without feeling worse for the wear. I made that mistake Sunday, and spent the better part of the afternoon laying in the fetal position.

Find The Place

Yogesh would call this “funnest new game found online using Google maps,” I just call it awesome. It’s a map quiz of sorts. The way it works is this: Click over to Placespotting.com, in the upper part of the page you see a satellite picture. Drag and zoom the map in the lower part of the page until it shows the same location as the upper map. You can even make your own quizzes for others, complete with a special note for when they crack the code.

NOTE: Because a lot of foreigners have been using the site, a lot of the quizzes are set up for non-English speakers. Keep pushing the “solve” button until the hints come up in a language you’re familiar with, and let the games begin!

Make Your Own Avatar

Step 1: Make the thing… there’s so many ways to go.

Step 2: Save the thing… it’s free to do and there’s so much you can do with it.

Step 3: Print the thing… paper is cool, but how about as a painting? If you’re willing to pay, they’re just about set up for it. It’s just might be crazy enough to work!

What do you get when you combine 7,000 pictures of women in bras? One giant picture of a woman in a bra.

The good people at Wonderbra let you zoom in and explore. Fun!

Head over to their site to scroll around and admire how the subtle variations come together to form a bigger picture. Or just ogle. Whatever you’re into.

The Sketch Swap

Draw a sketch, get a sketch… right there in their window. It’s just that easy.

Part of the fun is in watching the sketch they give you get drawn. You can totally tell who’s got a tablet and who’s working off the mouse.

NOTE: Your submitted sketch has to be approved before they send it out to anyone else (they’ll sign off on anything so long as it’s not profane or another site’s URL), but so far they’ve gotten over a quarter million sketches waiting to get traded.
