QUICK: I Can’t Find My Phone

At last, a way to find your phone at home without having another phone on hand to call it from. FYI: I know I’m late as hell on this one – did I mention how much fun it is looking at the web again after taking months off? – but posting it today is also my special nod and wink to whoever was using it to prank me last night. It’s pretty good for that too.

MAKE: PhotoTimeCapsules

All it takes is 60 seconds, and a Flickr around. Photojojo does the rest. Twice a month you’ll be getting emails of your own pictures from a year ago… Good times. Yup.

PLAY: TubeRockers

It’s Guitar Hero, meets YouTube, meets… a song about Die Hard?!?! No, really though. It’s fun for at least a track or two.

CONTRIBUTE: How Low Can Your Logo?

Like graphic design but aren’t that good? Even better, know what you’re doing enough to break all of the rules in the most aweful of ways? This is a contest for you…

First meet your client:
“Excellencico (established in 1996) is a global leader in providing a focused, broad range of services to a world-class, international, region-centric clientele. Excellencico harnesses evolving, dynamic e-technologies to provide unparalleled levels of synergistic e-products to a heterogeneous set of unperpendiculated e-applications… Our logo needs to be simple and yet detailed, complex yet spare. We prefer that the logo convey the forward-thinking nature of our company without looking too futuristic or flashy but we also don’t want anything too conservative or neutral. “Just right” is the vibe we are looking for.”

Sounds good, right? Better make it bad, the winner gets a sweet prize pack including One Laserdisc player. One copy of Robot Monster (1953), considered to be one of the worst of the worst films ever. Two pairs of 3D glasses. One bag of popcorn.

This is fun marketing done right. The deadline for entries is tomorrow.

Place your bombs using the mouse. Blow them up with the space bar. Remember though, there’s only so many bombs and everything’s got to go for you to make it to the next level. Yup. Click the pic to make the jump.
