You VS Wu

This just in: RZA, the Wu-Tang’s secret weapon / mastermind / cousin of ODB / actor / film score-er, has just launched a social network for hip-hop chess lovers: WuChess. “This is hardcore chess with half the stuffiness.”

Unrelated: Zoomdoggle just got owned.

Love 2.0

Nothing makes us happier here at Zoomdoggle & Co. then playing matchmaker (you know we set a reader up with a model once, right? And that was just the tip of the iceberg). So anyway, when a friend of the doggle asked for love advice recently, we pointed her in the same direction we point most days: to the interweb! Our search turned up the following love calculators. Some are better than others, but all are good for at least a minute or two of desk-doggling:

Lovecalculator.com – Kinds silly, just plug in the names and get a percentage.

Lovetest.com – A bit more sceintific. Still not authoritative enough to build a life around.

Eassycalculation.com – Compare and contrast up to four different possible bedmates.

Lovecalculator.be – Same calculation-type stuff… but you can also trick others into revealing their crushes.

Super Mario

It’s back. It’s in flash. And if you can get beyond the differences in music, it’s as addictive as you remember.

Bonus: The levels are customizable.

Double-bonus: If you absolutely, positively, have to have the right music, click here.

Your Head… Your Video

Head over to JibJab. Videos are free to make, $3 to share, and 9 times out of 10, priceless.

This one features me, a lady-friend, and Oprah (cause finding three head-shots meant making one more friend than I’ve got on my work computer):

Google Outtakes

We’re not going to tell you what it is… just click the link… then send a special thank-you to Lindsey Bachelder for sending it in. She says she was exploring her parent’s new suburban digs outside of LA when she stumbled across it.

Music Catch

Exactly 3 days and 3 hours after first discovering Music Catch, we’ve managed to grow to a “+83.” Yay, us.

In case you’re late to the party on this one, Music Catch is the simplest, greatest, most beautiful-est, freest game ever. Yellow shapes are good. Red shapes are bad. And if you’re playing it with the sound off though, you’re missing the show.

Pull the Finger

This needs no explanation. Click on the link. Click on the hands. It’ll only take a second. If your day isn’t just a little bit brighter, you might be a lost cause.
NOTE: If that is the case, you probably need Zoomdoggle more than anyone. Not to worry, we’re here for you. Click the RSS button and check back often.

Make Paper Funny

Bored?

Check it out, reach
into your pocket and
find all the canvas you need to spend the rest of
the day creating awesomeness.

Let us know if you can make any of these work (and how you did it if you do). After five minutes of
folding all we came up with was a paper
football. Well, that and
something that looks shockingly gina-like…
but we’re saving
it for a rainy day.
