Yeah, yeah, yeah Turntable.fm is awesome and addictive (more on that later, maybe, if I’m not too busy cuing up the tracks myself… see if you can find me there), but if you really want to feel like a DJ you’re going to need to get your hands on the wheels of steel. Wheels Of Steel is the digital equivalant. And it’s free. I’m told scrach functionality is coming soon. How fun is that?

Maybe “Get” is a little unrealistic, but “Want” for sure. Brace yourself, luxury watch maker Romain Jerome has collaborated with the TAITO Corporation on an ultra-exclusive set of watches. The Romain Jerome Space Invaders collection comes in two styles, with each style limited to 78 pieces. Both styles feature the same scene, with the only real difference being the color scheme. No price has been set yet, but in the words of Trendhunter Michael hines, “I would definitely expect these watches to cost quite a few quarters.” Yup.

WHEN: July 13th, 7PM-Midnight
WHERE: NYC’s McFadden’s, 800 Second Ave.
WHAT: A chance to land a hot date, find out what you’re worth, and give to good cause all at once. “Use your charm, good looks and contacts to put together a great date package that someone would love to bid on (value $150+). Dinner and a show, sporting/concert event, zip lining, tickets to the gun show – whatever you and your date would enjoy doing that will help raise money… Insider tip – chicks do great when their dates are paired with interesting dates geared toward guys (i.e. a day with a golf pro). On the flipside, guys sell great when paired with dates geared toward chicks (i.e. a day at the spa).” All proceeds are going to One Love Generation, a non-profit that empowers youth to inspire positive social change through art, service and awareness. Good times, right?
Want to get auctioned (word is they’ve got loads more girls signed-up than guys; gotta like them odds), Send 2-4 horizontal, hi-res photos (that means long ways, minimum of 100kb in size), 4-6 fun facts about yourself, and a song for you to be intro’d to by Wednesday, June 29. Complete details after the jump.
