This week is gonna be a good one! How can I tell? It’s hard to say. It’s a mystery, like when the right time to use “whom” is. One important thing to note though is that the mystery of the email has now been solved. From here on out, anywhere you see @zoomdoggle.com is an honest to goodness chance for you to get in touch. That’s right, just about every inch of the site is interactive, and we want you to interact. Especially if you’ve got a DV cam you’re skilled at using, an idea worth sharing, or just a penchant for having fun. Before you ask though, yes, this week’s cover girl is Krista Ayne. Yes, she can be reached by emailing kristaayne@zoomdoggle.com. And no, I have no idea if she’ll go out with you. Some mysteries a man just has to solve on his own. Hope to see you back here soon. —Jakehimelf@Zoomdoggle.com

I can’t believe it’s taken almost 20 years for me to remember how much fun it is to play dress-up. It’s never too late though. This week the Zoomdoggle crew is dressing it up big time — one girl gets in costume to ambush the Naked Cowboy, we’ve got a guy dressing for success LA style (I’m pretty sure that’s a grill in his grill), and a reader suits-up for a dream date of sorts — it’s a fun one. It’s also very much a work in progress. And it only gets better from here. —Jakehimelf@Zoomdoggle.com

“What are you waiting for?” It’s a question I’d never really asked. But once I said it out loud, I couldn’t stop saying it. Like, “Oh, you’ve always wanted a dog; what are you waiting for?”, “You want to go to go skydiving; what are you waiting for?” or “You think it’d be fun to fill a subway car with foam? What are you waiting for?” I started asking it of everyone I met, the one person I’d never asked was me. You see, while I’d decided that the rest of the world was waiting for tomorrow to start having fun, it didn’t occur to me that I was doing the same. Then I met Aaron Dignan & Co. I told Diggy that adults had forgotten how to have fun (or “doggle” as we call it in the office), and he asked what I was waiting for. I suggested we build a magazine. He told me today was the day. Long story short? Week One was fun making. Hope it’s fun reading, too. Next week let’s all have fun together. —Jakehimelf@Zoomdoggle.com
