Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

It’s the first snow day of the season… at least in New York City it is. If you can make it out your door, you might as well make your way to one of the one of the 13 kick-ass hills listed after the jump and do your thing.

Side note: The picture above creeps me out too, but Google let me down in my search for decent pictures of grown-ups on sleds. Hopefully after today that changes.

With just about 13,000 fans and over 1,400 user posted pics and videos to the Facebook page, it’s getting harder and harder to pick favorites. This holiday greeting from Matt Stones is hard to top though. Fun, right?

This is real. There’s no better way to say ‘I’m sorry’ to your furry friend for leaving them out of all of Xmas gifting goodness, than setting them free to chase digital mice and lasers on your new $700 toy. How fun is that?

URDB just released their list of the top 11 records set in 2010 as voted on by URDB staffers and URDB community. It’s a fairly increadible list. Next year’s going to be a big one… I can feel it. My personal goal: 24 records including one that makes the 2011 list. Who’s with me?

Congrats to Darius Monsef IV, founder of COLOURLovers and friend from way back, on his recent nuptials. To commemorate the occasion, Ma Monsef baked a 60 layer rainbow cake that stretched all the way across the table. How fun is that?

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, New York Spa Castle might well be the funnest place on Earth (or at least in Queens this time of year). It took an after work trip last night to jog my memory, but here’s the deal: Five floors of indoor and outdoor spas, massages, food, uniforms and booze. Plus digital “wristwatches” you waive in front of your locker to pop it open, or at the register to charge your account. What’s not to love?

SLRs are fun right? Ready to turn it up a notch? Try removing the L (lense) and just holding it at various angles in front of the SR (er, camera) while you take pictures. What you wind up with are photos that play with depth and focus the way only large format bellows cameras (the kind the guy sticks his head under the hood before taking the picture) typically do.
