HELP WANTED: Zoomdoggle Is Hiring

It’s not help wanted, it’s help needed! And we’re about six months behind when we should have first put out the bat call. Zoomdoggle & Co. needs writers. Writers who like fun, have an hour or three to track it down daily, and know how to string words together so as to share what they’ve found with others. There is pay involved (it’s not full time, but it could easily cover rent for the right person or persons). Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of WordPress and PhotoShop, enjoy a good flash game, a quirky web site, and eat one too many cupcakes in a sitting. Think you’ve got what it takes? Send a note or two about why you think you’re the one to jakehimself at giantminiature dot com. The hunt is one. It’s high-time this little blog grew up. How fun is that?

NERD-OUT: Victoria’s Photoshop Dissected

Ever wonder how much work goes into these pictures post-production? Hacker Factor has the answer. Brace yourself for the greatest CSI breakdown of a VS photo since, well, they started sending the catalog to my adolescent home.

FUN VIDEO: The Human Experience

ESCP Europe wanted to promote the school in a “fun, imaginative and entertaining way” so they got 300 students and a camera. That’s all you need to know. Push play and prepare for jaw drop.

GET: Hit Me Later

If you’re anything like me, replying to email in a timely manner isn’t exactly your strong suit. Of course, if you don’t get it right away, it gets lost in the clutter. At last, a snooze button or your email that bounces it back whenever it’s convenient. How fun is that?

HONORARY DOGGLER: Andrew McDonald

File this under ‘so smart it hurts.’ Andrew realized, should his camera get lost, the best way to get it back would be to have a picture in the camera’s memory that has, written in it, info on how to return it to him. Then he realized that, as long as he was making the effort, he might as well leave a few more pictures for the finder to find. The full collection is after the jump. When they’re all strung together, it’s a good read. When looked at from a distance, it’s a good idea. And when push comes to shove, it just might do the trick. Yup.

LOOK: Coaster Chess

The strangest thing to hit the world of extreem sports since ironing. Don’t ask why, but that deep in thought, hand to chin pose, seems to be intrinsic to the gag. Fun, right? Loads more examples after the jump.

PLAY: Civiballs Xmas Levels

Just when you thought Civiballs was over – Christmas too – they return. Together. Drop the balls into their proper boxes by cutting wires, swinging mallets, and dropping stuff. All of it with a Santa’s Workshop theme. Click the pic to get the game.

Anyone want to team-up and learn the routine? You know where to find me…

Many thanks to Mike G for sending this in.
