Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

Shot over ten days, during Studiocromie‘s 2nd annual FAME Festival in Italy, the pair painstakingly worked on this animation against all odds. Prepare to have your mind blown.

Yup, make music right here, right now:

1. Select 1 of 8 different Sound Patterns from the small colour- coded Matrixes on the right.
2. Use your mouse to draw or select notes on each 16 Step Matrix and combine sounds.
3. For each Pattern, you can adjust Volume, Mute, Clear, or set the Audio Pan from Left to Right.
4. Click on the Tempo value and drag your mouse up or down to change the overall Tempo.
5. Get & Share allows you to, well, get and share. Have a go.

Black cats freak me out too. Yup.

Brace yourself, a searchable mashup of of the YouTube API and various lyric databases means you can now sing Karaoke into your computer any time you like. How fun is that?

NOTE: Improv Everywhere is ubiquitous, I can’t even figure out where to put them anymore. Are the honorary cause they’re doing awesome stuff, or is it just fun stuff to look at, or to read, or, er, well, I dunno… I guess they get their own tag. Does it really matter?

“A brand new Improv Everywhere mission hit the interwebz today. For our latest mission, we installed a photography studio on a random subway car. We claimed that the MTA had hired us to take photos of every single person who rides the subway and that we’d be producing a yearbook at the end of the year. Most people were happy to pose for us, and the resulting photos show just how diverse New York subway riders can be.”

There’s something off about this picture… I couldn’t quite put my finger on it… and then it hit me: There’s nothing fun about looking at apartment buildings. At least not if you’re not from around here. That’s why they don’t sell star maps of New York City. Looking at celebs summer homes though is a different story. Now that the summer’s over, why not pick up a Hampton’s Star Map, head to the shore and stalk the likes of Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Richard Gere, and Alec Baldwin. Good times.
