GET: I Don’t Go To University
A fun idea with an even funner history. CLICK HERE to read the backstory, then, if you didn’t (or don’t) go to school, raise your hand and wear it proudly.

Hearing this story about Tracy meeting George Lucas pretty much confirms what I’ve been saying all along: Tracy Morgan is my hero.
You’ve got a face on your head, right? And tape on your desk? You know what to do… there are worse things than sacrificing an eyebrow for fun. Give it a go.

It’s a race to the finish with tons of bikes to unlock and riders to peddle against. Click the pic to get the game. It takes a second to load. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was enthralled, but it might have something to do with the fact that I can’t actually ride a bike.Â
There’s something fun about this commercial. See if you can spot it.

Here’s how this works: You click just about anywhere to draw in dots… that rotate around the line. It should only be fun for about 1 second, and yet, not only did it keep me entertained for a minute or two, I nearly got thrown across the room so office-mate Sam could have a go. And if you like that, Dhteumeuleu’s “Gallery of scripts” (a collection of several more of these fun, perspective-bending online toys and widgets) is sure to entertain. Check it out, just keep pushing the “DHTML demos” button and they’ll keep serving them up.

For the past few days, me and the Buckyballs crew have been doing our thing at the New York International Gift Fair. So far, so good… it’s looking more and more like you’ll be able to find them at a store near you (no matter where you are) this holiday season. Here’s the thing though: We’ve still got a few days left to go and, well, I think it’d be fun to see a familiar face or two. Or even better, make a new friend or two. So here’s what I’m thinking, if you’re in the area (we’re at New York City’s Javitz center), and can sneak away from whatever it is you’re doing for a few minutes tomorrow, drop me a line today at jakehimself at gmail and I’ll put you on the list for a free pass tomorrow. The first 5 people to actually walk up and say hey because of this post, can walk off with a free set on me. How fun is that?
UPDATE: Thanks for the overwhelming response. If you sent an email, your name is on the list today, and if you actually show I’ve got something for you… ALL OF YOU (this means way more than 5, I know, but sometimes it’s funner when everyone is a winner).Â

A battery powered, banna shaped, USB, batter charger… that actually peels? How fun is that?

WHEN: Wednesday, August 19th
WHERE: San Francisco’s world famous and very zig-zagged Lombard Street
WHAT: In honor of the children’s game Candyland 60th anniversary, the quarter-mile switch-back, ultra-steep street is a larger than life Candy Land makeover. The street will be closed to traffic as children from the University of California, San Francisco Children’s Hospital participate in the game as colored game pieces and interact with life-sized game characters. How fun is that?

This kid is so smooth it hurts. He didn’t even bump the bumpers. I always bump the bumpers.
