MARK YOUR CALENDAR: People Photographing People Photographing People

WHEN: 4 PM on September 19th, 2009
WHERE: New York’s South Street Seaport, South St. & Fulton St.
WHAT: An excuse for photographers of all shapes forms and fashions to bring out their camera (and costumes if so inclined) and sniff around other photogs, while everyone snaps away. This via Newmindspace:
“Many have commented over the years that it seems like there are just as many photographers at events as participants, and while this is not literally true, it can seem that way sometimes. So we decided to hold an event that skips the foreplay and goes straight to the photos. People photographing people photographing people. There is no real winner in this game, except perhaps those lucky souls who seem to make it into every photo. A costumer’s paradise. Or perhaps an exhibitionist’s? We will link up some scripts on our site for you to automatically add your photos and Flickr feeds instantly in the oversharing tradition of Now. All you need is a camera.” Sign-up on Facebook, or just show-up. Either way, know the whole thing is going straight to Flickr and beyond.
