Tom Judd was thinking about “botox users and their wonderfully emotionless faces” when it stuck him. What the world needs is an eyebrow hat so the rest of the world can tell when something strikes those unable to make expressions due to over-surgery-ing. “The eyebrow hat allows its wearer to express themselves by altering the pitch and height of each synthetic brow using the lightweight controller. Here’s how it’s played: Lay down. Lay down with the palms of your hands flat against your side and the tips of your toes pointing at the ground. Just as if you were standing, but vertically challenged. That’s pretty much it. Once you’ve assumed the position, have a friend snap a pic to post to facebook. How fun is that? Groups are popping up all over, but the one that set it all off currently has over 27,000 members. Even funner, they’ve got over 5,000 photos. If you can’t find the time to play, at least set aside a minute or two to have a look.

Star Wars Uncut is a super-fun project where 473 people have the chance to recreate Star Wars: A New Hope. The entire movie split up into 15 second clips. Click on one of the scenes to claim it, re-film your own version following the scene as best as you can, and re-upload it. When it’s all said and done, they’ll stitch the whole thing together and share the magic with the world. How fun is that? Here’s the not-so-fun bit, I got my first note about this 5 days ago, but I’m so bad at keeping up with emails that I just got around to reading today and, well, all of the scenes have already been taken. Thanks still to Mike K (the first tip-off) and Nobarkno (who says he got three scenes) for tipping me off. Can’t wait to see the final product.
