PLAY: Card Toss

Toss the cards into the hat. It’s a game so simple, you could play while, er, I dunno, you’re on a conference call (like I am)… but so enjoyable you might not stop even after everyone’s hung up (I’ll have to get back to you on that one). Click the pic to get the game.

FUN VIDEO: Brazilian Business News

A business show with bedside manner? Something tells me even a market crash is better received in Brazil.

BREAK THIS RECORD: Longest Successful Whisper Chain

Jake Bronstein began a whisper chain that successfully passed through 59 people, a new world record. With his girlfriend Kristina Hoge completely unaware of the plan, Bronstein sent the message “Kristina, will you marry me?” around a roomful of strangers. After the proposal passed through 59 people, a random stranger whispered the message in the ear of a completely shocked Hoge. She accepted onstage in front of a jubilant, tearful crowd. No wedding date has been set.

Bronstein set the record on July 14, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness the feat.

EDITOR’S NOTE: I haven’t been able to watch the footage yet…

LOOK: This Is Photobomb

Yeah, digital cameras stole some of the joy (people tend to know what you’ve done sooner than later), but there’s no question that photobombing – the act of jumping into the background of someone else’s shots – is still just fun. There are tons of sites featuring fine photobombing fiascoes, but none has brought quite as many instant smiles than This Is Photobomb. Come on, someone give that dog a biscuit, that photo is amazing. And there’s butt-loads more after the jump…

PLAY: Tetris Friends 6P

Brace yourself, this is big. And the amount you’re likely to get done beyond this today is, well, small. Tetris Friends 6P is Tetris, played against 5 other people people (you’re the 6th P). Every time you clear two lines at once, you can send them to one of your opponents. It sounds like a subtle variation, sure, but it changes everything. Click the pic to get the game (there’s no embed, so were jumping you to Tetris Friends, but no single jump could be more worth the time sucking effort. Trust that).

FUN VIDEO: Box Cat Sends SOS

No really though, anyone know Morse Code? I’d bet dollars to doughnuts the words “furry ass” are somewhere in his message…

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The First Ever Superhero Street Fair

FUN VIDEO: WK Get Bored

I’m surprised more people don’t do this on Fox. WK of course is a partner in a top secret Zoomdoggle project that, as luck would have it, could use a little luck this week. Somebody cross something.
