Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

Be stylish. Be sexy. Be animated like the opening sequence. The choices are a bit limited – though I think between the scruff, curls, glasses, and doughnut, that guy does have a certain Jake-ness – but so were the times. I love that we’ve littered (that scene where the Drapers dump their trash is one of my favorites) but how come my picnic date is standing on the checkers?

In somewhat related news, Duke University has a fun quiz about TV ads from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Sure, it’s before your time, but see how much you can guess based on what you know of the brands today.

The new Tron looks rad enough as is, but add Beat It (it’s a mash-up) and, well, how fun is that?

Dogs and cats are fairly cute as is… but playing dress-up is good times. Nothing’s funner than an Afro or mullet. Total Diva Pets has both, ready made to fit your little furry friend’s head. I can’t wait to see Cashew in a “Bobcat.”

This week’s pup: One hundred percent English bulldog. One thousand percent cute. One million percent in need of a perfect name, and an even more perfect home. About 10 months ago, he was born in a puppy mill. After he was weened from him mother, the nutrition was really, really bad and the cage he was kept in was far too small. As a result, his front legs bowed excessively. After his mother (who now has her own home) and he were removed from the puppy mill, a doctor put braces on his legs. That’s what those colorful things are in the picture. It looks like they’re working because his legs are much straighter than before, but he’ll probably never have perfect legs like other bulldogs. He is a very happy boy who loves balls, toys, and especially squishing plastic bottles flat. Finding his forever home would be nice – one without other dogs as he can’t defend himself would probably be best – but settling on a suitable name would be almost as good.
