FORD: Mission 3

Remember not so long ago when I told you Ford had lent me a car for 6 months… gas, parking, insurance, all included? Sure you do, people have been standing on it and I thought it might have been stolen. Anyway, they also give me a monthly mission. This month’s mission saw had me hit the road (in BK) to go furniture shopping with Tina Roth Eisenberg, aka design guru Swiss Miss. If you like design, like I do, and read Tina’s blog, like I do… this should be fun. And just in case you don’t, I let my roommate subtitle it any way he saw fit.

OH gawd. How embarrassing. Swiss Miss asked me already if the spelling of furniture is a joke. I’m not really sure. I let me roommate subtitle… but if you’re a frequent reader, you probably already know I’m not a good enough speller to have noticed myself.
Yup, consider me got.

Hello Jake, Do you know why Ford did not ask anyone over the age of 35 to test their fiesta? I have bought 4 new fords during my life. Kind of a slap in the face to the rest of us. Next time it will be a chevy. take care

@Steve, I’m pretty sure the thinking behind #fiestamovement had less to do with the customer than the medium. The whole program was developed to get people (the agents) to post pictures and stories on facebook, blogs, and beyond, so others would see. If I had to guess, I’d say that people in their 20s and early 30s post more to those places, and their friends – that is to say people of the same age group – are more likely to check those places regularly for pictures, than say, people of other ages.
Tell you what, give me a ring if you’re in town and I’ll see what we can’t do to put you behind the wheel for a spin. Hopefully that will un-slap the face enough that your next purchase can once again be made based on the vehicle specifics. Keep in mind, if you ever see an ad for a Ford on TV during a show you like, you can rest assured Ford Motors is spending more trying to get your business than mine.
