Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

1 Week ago I asked for help naming the newest member of the Zoomdoggle family (my giant, handsome, MALE – sorry that I left that bit out the first time – puppy). Over 90 comments later, we’re still drawing a blank. Not that there weren’t loads of good ideas in there, there were, but after a week spent picking a favorite in the morning with which to call the pup for the rest of the day, nothing quite stuck.

It’s time to end the indignation (and win a little cash).

Ben Kaufman, founder of Name This, an online community that helps people, well, you know, has waved the entry fee, generously allowing me to post the dog for naming free of change. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t cash prizes for whoever puts in the name that gets the most votes. Top rated wins almost $30. Second place is just shy of $20. So hop over, suggest a name, or re-input the one you already plugged in here and make some magic. I haven’t confirmed it yet, but this just might be the first dog named by Internet! How fun is that?

NOTE: He’s probably not the first dog named by the Internet, but I’m enjoying the process so what the hell…
