BuckyBalls: Hey NY Post Readers…

Dear NY Post readers, thanks for coming. Some things to know, there’s actually 216 balls in a set (not 21), I’ve sold $200,000 worth but not 200,000 units (that would be a few million dollars in sales), and they’re made by Zoomdoggle, but sold at www.GetBuckyBalls.com.

HONORARY DOGGLER: Zach Bliss

Zach Bliss is a man on a mission: A different job every work day (that’s Monday to Friday, less holidays) for a year. He’s been a baker, a dog walker, a promoter for a bowling alley, an emcee at a Jello wrestling event (I was actually there, at Gama on St Marks), the list is endless. Sadly not every post gets a video (did I mention I was at the Gama Jello wrestling night… nothing like watching pretty girls go toe-to-to with an aging restaurateur – sadly Zach’s post is video-free on that one), but they’re all unquestionably fun to read. It might be my new favorite blog. Check it out.

Laugh With Your Fingers

Here’s the logic: Wouldn’t it be fun to have a symphony of laughter every time you say something witty? Now you can. Hahahaha is a spectrum of different laughs, each controlled by a different letter on the keyboard. More guffaw and less tee-hee? Eddy Murphy throat laughs garnished with mild chuckles? Whatever you’re into. Me, I just like pounding on the keys and seeing what happens. Even the lamest puns become smile-worthy with the right sound-track behind them.

QUICK: Name This Dog

Long story short, this weekend was my birthday and I got two pretty awesome gifts. The first is a fish-eye lens. If you’re a Zoomdoggle regular, odds are you’re going to see a lot of very wide-angle and rounded photos in the days ahead. The second is a dog. A giant puppy. A giant nameless puppy. And that’s where you come in. Help me name the dog. Make a suggestion or two in the comments below and the winner gets, well, naming rights. How fun is that?

PLAY: Smiley Collapse

Like Plummet? This is pretty much that, but rolly-er. And multiplayer (on the one screen) if you’re into that. Click the pic to get the game. Post high-scores below (so far my best is 22566).

Yardsale Treasure Map

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. If your idea of fun is sorting the one from the other (see also: bargain hunting, collecting stuff, entertaining older-women friends) then this one’s for you. The Yard Sale Treasure Map is an interactive map of, well, yard sales. It looks like this weekend Brooklyn and the surrounding areas are jumping off. Have a look at your neck of the woods, mouse over the flags for more details, then giddy-up and go.

NOTE: My mom sent me this. Really. How fun is that?
