MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Putting Lot (Grand Opening)
WHEN: June 6th, 10AM
WHERE: 12 Wyckoff Avenue, Bushwick Brooklyn, New York 11237
WHAT: New York’s first and only an eco-minded, NY-themed, mini-golf park… built over a once-dirty, vacant lot in Bushwick. Built almost entirely from salvaged parts (chicken wire, sedan doors, etc), the holes range from a full-sized bodega façade with a video-game cabinet putt-through (“The Bushwick Art Mart”), to an industrial concrete tower (“The Reservoir”), to a raised platform surrounded by a wading pool called “Are You Wet Yet?” All of it brought to you by the creators of Hotel QT, which featured Midtown’s only lobby-bar swimming pool, and all of it costing just $5 for adults, $3 for kids. How fun is that? More details after the jump.
