HONORARY DOGGLER: Jonathan Mann

Every day, Jonathan writes, performs, and posts a song. Folk, happy pop, dirty rock, it doesn’t matter. Here’s the fun bit though, almost all of them are written by request by desk-dwellers and online friends like, well, us. All you’ve got to do is suggest a theme.

The whole set is posted to Jon’s site, Rockcookiebottom. Got a theme you’d like to sugjest? Email it to songsforpeople at yahoo. Fun, right?

Jon Bruck, I’m singing a big thank-you to you for sending this my way.

iNap@Work

Today’s fast-paced work environment can be extremely tiring, but sleeping on the job, even just a power nap, is still kind of frowned upon… enter iNap@Work, a program that creates random office sounds based on the “productivity level” you’d like people passing your cube to think you’re playing at. Dial in just the right amount of clicking, typing, paper crunching, and sneezing, and the rest of the office should leave you alone while you fade away. Nothing’s funner than dreams; get’cher swerve on with your the mind-honeys at work.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I still don’t have an iPhone, or work in the kind of office where anyone really cares what you’re up to, so I’m certainly no authority, but I’m pretty sure iNap@Work is the greatest iPhone app ever.

FUN VIDEO: I Remember Andrea BETTER

Andrea sends a stripper to her high school reunion in her place. No, really. This is amazing. If more people did this, I might actually go to mine.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: TMNT at the Drive-In

Tribeca Film Festival’s Tribeca Drive-In opens tonight with a little “heroes on a half-shell.” 6:30 PM, World Financial Center Plaza, the movie is free, but the fun doesn’t stop there. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of turtle power, the turtles themselves will be making a special guest appearance along with April O’Neil. But there’s more. New Yorkers will attempt to break (er, set?) the Guinness World Record of the largest gathering of people dressed as ninja turtles, be invited onto a Party Bus based on the original Turtle Wagon, get their faces painted, and learn some new chop-chop-chop through martial arts demos. Boom, see you there.
