World Pillow Fight Day
Mark your calender, April 4th, it’s on as World Pillow Fight Day returns. Just about every major city is having an event (check local listings after the jump). New York’s is taking place on Wall Street at 3PM (whack-a-banker? Fun!).
The Rules
Feather-free pillows only! + Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. + Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. + Remove glasses beforehand! + The event is FREE and appropriate for ALL AGES. Wait until 3:00 to begin. + Soft pillows only! Dress to the nines and demand your bailout money 
The Cleanup Effort: Volunteers Needed!
This year’s goal is to clean up 100% of the litter left behind. To help in this effort, do not bring feather pillows. If you would like to help clean up, please bring some trash bags. We will distribute gloves and brooms.

How does this work without feather pillows? Wouldn’t it just be pieces of foam flying everywhere?

just to appease my own curiosity, where did you find the first photograph you used? was it already cropped like that or was that your choice?

@Chad, not sure… I’m sure I got to it through their site though.
@ari, I hear you. Maybe I’ll start. 90% of the pictures on here though come from or through the sites talked about, so crediting seems like overkill. The ther 10% are photoshopped, compt’d, cut, or cropped so hard by me (you’ll notice a lot of the files have names like “Zelda JayZ by Zoomdoggle”) that it hardly seems worth the effort to run a full-on thank-you reel.
The ones that aren’t though, IE the uncredited non-manipulated, and non-linked to the actual site of origin (most things are linked you know) retain their same file name. Googling it should bring up the source.

@steph, maybe I’m wrong. I’m willing to admit it (‘specially seeing as I used to take pictures for a living), but again, we’re talking about pictures that, if you click them, take you to their source. In this case, the flickr is of the group. The group is linked when you click the picture.
