Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

Jimmy Fallon utilizes his tremendously steady cranium to set a new world record for the tallest shaving cream wig. The wig, created by Matt Vescovo, measured an impressive 9″ in height.

Fallon set the record on March 20, 2009 during a URDB segment on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to document and witness the record.

Playing with people on Craigslist (who don’t realize they’re being played with) is fun… this time in the name of mind control!

Welcome to the 12th Weekend of the year (and happy New Year Persian People!)

Not only is it the weekend, it’s also the start of a week of holiday/vacation (yup, I’m taking a week off) – woo and indeed, hoo!

The plan? Chillax.  Start making a vegetable garden, make another curry and destroy mutant nasties in just-bought-it-today Fallout 3.  Bring it.

Thisisbigthisisbigthisisbig… Zoomdoggle’s home away from home and long-time brother in arms URDB is on Fallon tonight! This is not to be missed. Watch in awe as a simple fun idea (a wiki of world records where anyone can invent a category in which to post  – why not we’re all special – and anyone else can top – as they should, humanities need for achievement is fundamental) begins to catch on. BIG TIME. Well done homies. The fun club supports its own. Always.

This is how I look with a lot of things. Don’t worry kid, you’ll get it. One day. I see now when other people find it fun watching.

The New York Times has a fascinating story of a town in Switzerland who fears they’re about to be overrun with naked hikers. Choice lines include:

“In recent years, it has become fashionable for a growing number of Swiss and some foreigners to wander in the Alps clad in little more than hiking shoes and sun screen. Last summer, the number of nude hikers increased to such an extent that the hills often seemed alive with the sound of everything but the swish of trousers.”

Sounds like fun, right? Ordinarily, I’d shrug a story like this off as being sensationalist, but a search for “nude hiking” turns up more than 45,000 results. All of which makes me wonder, the last time I “discovered” a new sport, Geocaching, it turned out all you had played it already. Is this that kind of party?

NOTE: Though nothing sounds more tempting than going a la mode in the Alps, If you’re new to the concept as I am, be warned, the pictures on the Internationalnudist’s hiking forumn (NSFW, unless you work in a place when full frontal man-junk is approved) might turn you off the thing entirely.
