Honorary Doggler: Chris Not Craig
Newly minted friend of the doggle “Chris” has been putting these funny signs up around town for weeks in a sort of low-fi, Craigslist spoof. Obviously, anything that gets people thinking, wondering, smiling, or even just scratching their brow, is fun. But perhaps the funnest bit of all is that he’s already got imitators from as far off as Australia:
That’s when you know an idea is good. How fun is that?

I am guessing either net friends or a backpacker.

@sarah, right you are. At the time he sent them to me though, it seemed like we were supposed to keep that a secret. I don’t know how many followers Todd has (real ones, not Twitter), but I’m one for sure!

Todd’s idea was great but I definitely think Craig’s notes are funnier and much more clever.

This is not Todd or Craig’s idea. The first I heard of this idea was by a Glasgow artist named David Shrigley in 1996, years before either of them posted their notices.
I find David’s work more original and funny than either Todd or Craig.

The links are fine for me, and thanks Luke - i do think it’s nice to credit the orignal fella. David Shrigley’s is fantastic - everyone should check him out. Respect to Todd and Craig, mind - i wonder what happens at 4pm?
