Play Black Knight Chess
Get the knight to the star by moving the way that only knights do (in chess). Pushing buttons unlocks extra spaces. And sometimes you’ve got to kill a king or two. Click the pic to get the game.

this game was really fun. you dont need any chess know-how actually. it helps if you know the way the pieces move, but you pick it up soon enough. it was really challenging. but in a fun way. not in a make you say forget this kind of way
this is probably one of the best brain teasers i’ve played.
i beat it in under 2000 moves. which isnt great but i still beat it!

It should allow the knight to jump over pieces in it’s way just like in real chess. Otherwise a good game.

Sweet Game, finished in 1549 moves. I’d like the game better if I knew which direction the pawns could move, and which direction they couldn’t. That’s my only complaint though.

It was good. I did worse than I thought I would providing I used to play lots of strategy games – 1671 moves. A few were frustrating because the only way I could find to get to the king was too long. You had to go around in circles to avoid the other pieces which weren’t moving in any strategic way. But it was fun overall.

889 moves
A great idea. Not being able to jump pieces is O.K. but should be explained at the beginning. The only real problem is in the later stages where the pieces seem to move randomly (thus sometimes moving such that you can win, sometimes not).

Very good game. Took me 1684 moves to finish. Have to agree that it would be nice to jump over pieces like in real chess and it would be nice to know in which direction the pawns would move. A couple gave me some real trouble, but worth it in the end. Impressed that Doug finished in only 889 moves. Nice job!

1095. Since I play chess I was thrilled to see this game as I like the knight’s movements.
The random movements of the later stages though made beating those stages up to a whole lot of chance rather than skill, though.

cool game. wish instructions would point out no piece jumping and maybe with the shift we could also see arrows for movements (especially for the pawns). 853
