Zoomdoggle: More fun than work!

Dammit! I’m sure I left around here somewhere… Anyone seen it?  It’s a Friday evening, a large Saturday and a cute looking Sunday.  Goes by the name ‘Weekend.’  I’m sure I had it recently, I saw it about a week ago.

Ah!  There it is!  It’s just on the other side of 6pm.  Phew!  Thought I’d lost it.

Now I can go to the cinema, go on my new training course, read the paper, and make a nice dinner.  Bring it on! All of which leads to the question: What fun things are you all up to this weekend?  Let us know in the comments. Quick!

Playing with people on Craigslist (who don’t realize they’re being played with) is fun… this time in the name of child labor. Remember TinyToilerz? They’re back.

Go Media, one of Zoomdoggle’s favorite design shops on earth (and not just because I’m about to ask for a mega favor for a side project I’m working on) has just released the official FAIL sticker. It’s the right font, right size, right color and background, to call out people, places, and things that have gone all wrong. How fun is that? Answer: Very.

Ready to make your own superheros? It’s easy as pie at The Hero Factory. After a few minutes spent tinkering with a faceless, lightsaber having pimp, I settled on the slightly tamer, grocery shopping, “Metalic Philanthropist” you see above.

All of which got my wondering: Which super power would you want most and why? Post you answers below. Most creative and/or interesting wins the admiration of us, your super friends. I’ve posted first to get the ball rolling, but I’m eager to see which way it goes.

Between my occasional disgustache, every-lasting hoodie, and my love of wearing rain boots when it’s sunny and going unbrella-free in the rain, it’s fair to say I’m somewhat fashion impaired. But you’d have to be blind as a bat not to see that these purses are probably the funnest handbags on earth. And I didn’t even show you the “Cubrick Chinese Crested” or the “Grass Chihuahua.” “They’re all of the affection, with none of the responsibility,” says designer Jennifer Liu says.

They’re full size (12 inches or so) and carried by the Museum of Contemporary Art Store (where I first spotted them and should’ve taken a picture). Prices start at $60, and I’ll fork over a $1 to the first person who sends in a picture of them carrying one to a formal affair or on a job interview. How fun is that?

On February 15th Orange County rocker Will Crum and his band was able to sneak their music equipment (amps, drums, the works) into an IKEA and performed a 3 song set in one of the kitchen sets before being shut down. Prior to that, the Wendy’s gig…

Next up? It’s anyone’s guess. Why wait around for gigs when you can make your own. How fun is that?
