If you’re anything like me, you dream of being a superhero. It all starts with the house. Anyway, here’s the story:
Couple buys cave on eBay.
Couple has cave rezoned for living.
Couple builds house… in cave.
Couple puts house/cave/lair back on ebay.
17,000 sq feet. 3 bedrooms. 2 baths. Oh, and “The back chamber still has the stage where Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Ike and Tina Turner, the MC5 and many other bands performed.”
How fun is that?

Did you see where it’s located? I’m just guessing, but I doubt there’d be much crime to fight. Raccoons maybe, but crime?

Call me a cynic, but having read their story (I did some googling) it kind of looks like they wanted to flip a cave. Cave flipping, who does that?

I live in NYC. I saw this and wanted it. I told my guy we were moving and showed him this page. He asked where it was. We went to the ebay page to find out it is in the town I went to high school in and my parents still live there! I called my mom and told her about it. Her response…oh yeah, that thing. How did I not know about this?!

If I had the money I would totally buy that house/cave. I don’t care if they were just doing it to flip it, it’s freaking awesome. Do you realize the jokes that would open up for you, let alone the parties you could have in that place…
