Mouse In A Pint

Did someone actually just build a better mousetrap? This simple, non-lethal mousetrap uses a breadstick attached to a spring to prop up a pint glass. When the mouse begins munching, the stick breaks, trapping him or her in the glass. How fun is that? If I could zoom in more on the picture I’m sure you’d see a tiny smile in there some place.

That could be the name of a sitcom. “Mouse in a pint glass”… my wife would watch.

Then what? I mean, what does someone do with a mouse in a pint glass anyway?

You could drink it down I suppose. A shot of mouse sounds like something the kids probably do in the burbs.

It’s at this point that you break out the finger-board (or Tech Deck if you prefer) and begin training your new pet on the competetive sport of extreme-skateboarding. Go Mr Whisker-Britches, Go!

(He’s comin’ for you, Extreme Pete!)

That’s assuming the mouse can get by without oxygen.

Besides, there’s no need for better mousetraps. On a recent “This American Life,” they interviewed the head of Victor mousetraps. He said that, despite the fact that they produce a $2 mousetrap with 100% effectiveness, every day someone sends them a new “better” design.

I’m pretty sure air gets under an upturned glass. Otherwise, you’d never be able to lift it off the counter.

Oooo, a physics discussion! Now I wish I had paid more attention back in high-school.

Judging by the photo, it’s a good gerbil catcher.
