The Funball Machine Gets Sweeded

Yup, the “Funball Machine” aka the “Fun-O-Meter,” “Funulator” or “Fun-O-Mat”—turns out even naming the thing is fun to do—get’s makes it’s first appearance in the Swedish press.

Sadly, so did my Jew-fro.

And that face. I suppose I didn’t have to do the screen-grab mid-way through a word, but I liked that it lists me as “Erfinder ‘Funometer.’” I’m thinking of putting it on my business cards.

Anyway, they’ve yet to crack the embed-riddle on that side of the globe, so if you want to see the video, you’ll have to click the pics. Cool though, right?

Hey, in related news, the machine needs new ideas. I’ve got 300 or so, but there’s always room to grow. Neatorama was kind enough to spread the word yesterday, now it’s time to open the hotline. Got a fun idea you think others would enjoy. Send it to funballs at zoomdoggle dot com or post it below. If your’s makes the cut, I’ll gladly credit you for it, post it here, and send you a funball free of charge. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Heh, that top domain is Swiss, Switzerland, and the site is in German I believe. Here in Sweden we speak Swedish :3

  2. Jeroen says:

That looks suspiciously like German. On a Swiss domain.

Help! The Swedes are invading Switzerland!

  3. pttr says:

    That would be German press.

I’m from Sweden and no word about it here yet…

Funball machine would be “kulbolls-maskin” in Swedish. Or even “kulkula-maskin”. “Kul(a)” means both “fun” and “ball”.

And “Erfinder Fun-O-Meter” would be “Fun-O-Meter uppfinnare”.

  4. pttr says:

Sorry ’bout that, that’s Swiss press. But in German.
    Switzerland != Sweden.

They’ve got cheese, we’ve got IKEA and chicks.

  5. Marco Loco says:

A revolution is sweeping the world … but it made a stop in Switzerland, not in Sweden. What the hell, it´s somewhere in the old world anyhow :-)

  6. Pedromeister says:

    Dude, that’s German, not Swedish…

  7. Karyn says:

    1) THAT RULES
    2) That news is from Switzerland, not Sweden.

Subway Surf to work - is the Doggle.

I commute every day from Fort Greene Brooklyn to SoHo Manhattam. Usual deal, iPhone (rocking out High Contrast album, ‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’ - great). Usually have a book, never have a seat.

I like to stand and surf. No touching of handles allowed.

I get 1 “life” if the train realy jerks and I’m in danger of kneeing some poor unfortunate in the face, I’ll grab the bar.

I personally like to play it really straight, make no expressions and just read but have your body bending around. Inside I’m giggling like a kid.

Good way to start the day!
