Doesn’t Anybody Read Anymore?

It all starts with an observation: Waiting for the subway is not that much fun. Actually, it’s less than not fun, it’s downright dull. If ever there was a time and place for a doggle, this is it. If ever there were a people waiting to smile, commuters would be them.

With that in mind, Zoomdoggle & Co hatched a bit of a plan, a way to the subway the fun-way. You see, the way we figure it, being underground doesn’t have to mean being down. In fact, a playground underground sounds pretty damn good.

Without giving too much away, I will say that three days and a couple bucks spent on athletic equipment and infrastructure later, we crept out into the night looking to turn the doom and gloom of an ordinary subway platform into something, well, extraordinary (or at least fun). What we found was the L Train, the line we’d planned to hit, turned off for the night. In place of the canvas we were desperate to doggle, we found little more than a series of padlocks… and some shuttle-service topside.

I guess it pays to read the signs. Anyhow, we’ll be back at it early next week and it’s looking more and more like a “more the merrier”-type situation (setting it up just the three of us, might take too long to pull it off). Anyone want in? Drop us a line at Love At Zoomdoggle Dot Com for details.
